This glass pendant features the beautiful state of California with a heart at areas impacted by increasingly devastating wildfires. It has a hand-painted silver-tone backing, comes on an 18" oxidized metal alloy chain with clasp, and will arrive in a black organza pouch.
 
20% of profits from the sale of this pendant will go to Friends of the Earth, an organzation that "focuses on clean energy and solutions to global warming and ... fights to protect the rights of all people to live in a safe and healthy environment, both at home or in countries around the world. [Their] campaigns demonstrate [their] belief that the fight for justice and the movement to protect the health of the planet are part of the same struggle."
 
For almost a full year, I've donated 100% of the profits from this piece to a victim's fund collected by the North Valley Community Foundation in Chico, CA, and the donations from this and the Southern CA piece totalled over $1000. The money raised went to the victims of the 2018 Camp Fire in Northern California. The Camp Fire destroyed the town of Paradise and is now the most destructive fire in the state's history.
